Meet The Team at Kit Buildings Direct

Managing Director and Owner of Kit Buildings Direct. The “Dad” of the company. Chris has been in the steel building industry since 1974 starting out as a trainee draughtsman. He has over 50 years of experience which is showcased in his knowledge of steel buildings.

Chris Toons son – Paul has been working alongside his Dad since 1995. He currently splits his time between the workshop – fabricating and welding and the office overseeing the running of the business. Pauls expertise in the steel building industry has come from his years of hands on manufacturing and workshop management.

Chris Toons daughter – Christine is the Office Manager having worked within the company for just over 22 years. With the responsibilities of purchasing and accountants Christine’s many years of running the office ensures it all runs smoothly.

Chris Toons daughter – Michelle is the Sales Manager and estimator here at Kit Buildings Direct. With a 1st class law degree Michelle also oversees the H&S and is our qualified 1st aider. With the responsibility on developing the business working with social media and advertising.

Chris Toons grandson – Jayden is fresh to the company. After finishing his A-Levels in Business, Economics and Computer Science Jayden is currently our trainee draughtsman. Learning from his grandad he is in good hands.

Adrian has been a draughtsman for over 40 years. Working within the drawing office with his expertise and knowledge in this area Adrian is a credit to Kit Buildings Direct.

Here we have our team of workshop employees ranging from fabricators, welders, painters, CNC machine operators and press brake operators. Here at Kit Buildings Direct we are very proud of our workshop team who ensure our finished products leave the workshop perfect for our customers. All members of our workshop are valued for their dedication to Kit Buildings Direct.

Jacob has been with Kit Buildings Direct for 8 years now becoming a valued member of the team. He is our press brake operator who oversees the running of this department.

David is our workshop foreman who oversees the running of the workshop. David has shown great strength in his role as workshop foreman enabling the smooth running of an important part of the company.

We design, manufacture and install all types of agricultural and industrial buildings, using the latest CAD technology and GA Drawings for both kit buildings and full installation projects.
