Who’s Behind Kit Buildings Direct?
Kit Buildings Direct’s director, Chris Toon, is our Director and patriarch, and has over 40 years of experience in the industry. For over 20 years, Chris’s children, Paul, Michelle and Christine, have served as Works Manager, Sales Executive and Accounting Manager, respectively.
Our 40 years of experience have allowed us to perfect our craft and design robust, long-lasting, multifunctional agricultural buildings for our customers.

Can Kit Buildings Direct Install my Structure?
Absolutely. It can be difficult to juggle the various companies, specialists and suppliers associated with constructing a building. This is why we’re happy to cut out the middleman, and offer manufacturing, full installation, and foundation services to our customers.
We’ll work with you on a one-to-one basis to ensure your vision becomes reality. And on top of that, we provide concrete panels, flashings, steel gutters, personnel doors, double doors and sliding doors, and we’ll even galvanise or paint your steelwork if you need it!
Can I Have a Third Party Install my Kit Buildings Direct Structure?
Of course! One of the great things about us is that you’re under no obligation to work with us from start to finish. Our building kits are designed to be installation-ready. So if all you need is the pre-fabricated metal parts, we can deliver it to you and you can take it from there.
We also advise our customers on reputable metal cladding suppliers. So if you’re just hoping to give your building a touch-up, we’re happy to help with that too. Metal cladding is great as a means of weather-protection, insulation, noise reduction, privacy, security, fire prevention, and simply aesthetics.

Our Location
Our Derbyshire office gives us great access to companies Nationwide. So no matter where you are, we can deliver to you on time, even if you have restricted access to your site! If this is the case, please let us know, as we’ll arrange delivery via rigid vehicles rather than our standard Arctics.
Our Technology
Kit Buildings Direct uses the latest CAD design technology and provides GA Drawings where necessary. We can also organise a site survey to look over your land and see what we can achieve!
